Undercovers for Underwood Contest - Win tickets, a meet & greet and more

100.7 HANK FM will host a “bed in” where listeners will have to stay “Undercovers for Underwood." The winner will receive:a pair of Floor Tickets to see Carrie Underwood December 2 at the MTS Centre, a Meet and Greet before the show and a California King Size Simmons Beauty Rest Mattress (Come on, we can’t make you sit in a bed for hours upon hours and not give you the bed!)

"Undercovers for Underwood," will take place in centre court at a Kildonan Place Shopping Centre where lucky finalists will have to stay “Undercovers for Underwood” and prove their dedication to Carrie Underwood. The centre court of the mall will be transformed into a bedroom where 4 King Size mattresses will be fastened together to create one giant bed (a giant bed for a giant country star). The lucky finalists will be given one pillow and one blanket and will be required to stay on the bed, for as long as it takes to be the last one standing...or lying.

The Auction: On Friday, November 28th at 9am 100.7 HANK FM will have a silent auction for the remaining three California King Size Simmons Beauty Rest mattresses ($2,000 value per mattress) from centre court of Kildonan Place Shopping Centre.This will be a silent auction, so all you have to do is stop by the "Undercovers for Underwood," bedroom in centre court of Kildonan Place and make your bid. All proceeds of this auction will be donated to the Children's Wish Foundation.

Cara Hill, author of "Supernatural Winnipeg - A Guide to a Ghostly Vacation" will be at Coles Kildonan Place to sign copies of her book, which is all about the most haunted places in Winnipeg.
Visit Guest Services and Support UNICEF - Help UNICEF this halloween by purchasing a paper pumpkin at Guest Services or cloth trick-or-treat bags. Pumpkins are $1, and bags are $3. With every bag purchase, you'll also be entered to win great gift baskets fom Cadbury and other UNICEF supporters.

Safe Halloween Event - October 31, 3-6 PM
Kids grade 6 and under are invited to come by Kildonan Place for safe indoor trick-or-treating at our merchants. Visit Guest Services for a list of participating stores. UNICEF will also be in the mall, with temporary tattoos, candy, and more.

Fall is here, and with the leaves changing, we're changing at Kildonan Place!

Urban Behavior is coming to KP! The new store, featuring cutting edge men's and women's fashion will be opening in December at the front entrance (in the former Branigan's location).

In movie news, Kildonan Place was changed to "Hill Top Mall" for a made-for-TV movie shoot this week. "The Taking of Anne", starring Vivica A. Fox, will be shown on the Lifetime network in the US. Middle & High School Students Can Win!

"My Going Back Pact" Contest
Middle years and high school students - pledge to make a difference this school year, and you could win a $500 gift card!

It's easy to enter! Just look for the "Going Back Pact" entry form in the Kildonan Press Newsletter (delivered August 17 with the Winnipeg Free Press Sunday Homes), download a form from our website, or pick up a form at Guest Services. Tell us how you're going to make a difference this year - in your home, school, or community. It can be almost anything, from recycling more to starting up a school club - the only limit is your imagination. We want to know how you plan to make your world a better place! As the month progresses, we'll post the pacts on our website, so you can see what other students are doing in your community.

Starting Monday August 18 at 10:00 am, drop your entry off at Guest Services. The first 100 entries will receive a Kildonan Place pencil case and a $10 mall gift card. All other entries will receive a Kildonan Place pencil (while quantities last). All "Going Back Pacts" will be entered in a random draw on September 8 for a $500 Kildonan Place Gift Card! Contest closes September 7, 2008. One entry per person, open to students entering Grade 5-12 in the 2008/09 school year. Early entries will not be accepted.
